What are you doing Sunday? If you’re a cheese head, there are a few tickets left for Meet the Baker Community, a special event where you can sample cheeses from all over the country and the world while meeting the people who make them.

Presented by the publication Culture: The Word on Cheese, this is part of an event for the cheese industry. But a limited number of $10 tickets are available for the public from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event is at the 7th Street Public Market, 224 E. 7th St.

Rachel Klebaur, the organizer and owner of Orrman’s Cheese Shop, is the Charlotte organizer and she expects more than 18 makers of cheeses, charcuterie and specialty food, including Emmi-Roth USA, Belgioioso, Vermont Creamery, Isigny Ste-Mere and Smoking Goose.

Find tickets at www.eventbrite.com.
