South End can have its craft beer and eat it, too.

A new food truck that launches Wednesday called Twisted Eats serves items made only with Wooden Robot beer.

The truck is a collaboration between chef Rob Masone of Kre8 Xperiences and Wooden Robot Brewery. It will serve beer-infused menu items like beer cheese and beer boiled macaroni and cheese egg rolls.

The food truck will be parking outside Wooden Robot Brewery in South End Wednesday through Saturday evenings, as well as on Sunday for a special “funday” brunch.

“It’s amazing what flavors beer can reveal and enhance when paired with, and infused into the right foods,” Masone said in a statement this week.

Wooden Robot, which opened this summer, is at 1440 S. Tryon St. The dog-friendly brewery specializes in Belgian-style beers and is run by childhood friends Dan Wade and Josh Patton.
