Sports-related startups: Apply to 2nd annual Sports Tank competition in Charlotte

Cornelius-based TPG Sports Group is accepting applications for its second annual Sports Tank competition, happening April 1 at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte. Ten sports startup companies will pitch their ideas to venture capitalists. One student-led sports startup business will be selected to present in front of the investors.

In addition to the investors, the event also will feature a Sports Advisory Panel made up of NBA and NFL executives, a retired Nike executive, and a sports marketing executive, according to TPG.
