July 26, 2016 6:21 PM

Donald Trump is scheduled to return to the Charlotte area next month for a fundraiser in Mooresville, according to an invitation obtained by the Observer.

The fundraiser is planned for Aug. 18 at his Trump National Golf Club, which the Republican presidential candidate bought in 2012. The hosts are Connie and Chuck McAllister, Trump National residents, and Melanie and Ed Broyhill, according to the invitation. Ed Broyhill is a Winston-Salem investor and Trump fundraiser.

Contributions to attend range from $2,700 per person to $50,000 to serve as an event co-chair, or attendees may raise $100,000.

On Tuesday, Trump addressed the Veterans of Foreign Wars Convention in Charlotte. His visit followed a Monday evening campaign rally in Winston-Salem.
